Bryan Johnson is cool as fuck. If we want serious advancement in the medical field then it's going to require doing somethings that are uncomfortable or not viewed as cool
Measuring every human function at a level that 99% of individuals are incapable and then sharing that data freely is cool as fuck and I will not hear otherwise
sometimes I spontaneously remember that I get to be with @bryan_johnson
..and there's no time limit
..with no hard expiration date
..that tomorrow includes him
and it overwhelms me with happiness
it kinda makes everything fun
Kate I feel the same about you. You're unlike anyone I've ever met. You somehow make everything interesting and fun. I don't think in the five years we've been around each other that we've ever had a moment where one of us wasn't eager to share something with the other. When we met I was private and guarded and you've gently nudged me to be open and helped me develop the self confidence to unabashedly be me. I feel a sense of freedom and sovereignty that was missing from my life. I also love what we're doing together. I feel deep purpose and meaning and the whole thing becomes more fun when in stride with you. We of course have our moments but we've proven capable of working through them. Here is to frontiers we've yet to explore and games we've not yet played.
Kate’s period will start any minute now….
I’ve been waiting for 34 days.

proud of @_katetolo for becoming the world's most measured woman
It was my dad's 49th birthday yesterday. What I appreciate about him:
- he'd ask me all about my day and then before bed, he'd tell me stories with me as the main character that would incorporate all of the events and details. I didn't see it at the time but he was helping me process my emotions and build character.
- took me on adventurous trips that were physically challenging and required risk taking, teaching me to embrace discomfort and take calculated risks
- never judges me, making him someone I felt like I could share anything with
- we've never been in a fight
- encourages my constant questioning of everything (including him)
- asks for my opinion first when I come for advice
- taught me the importance of health at a young age
It really is such a beautiful thing to have an extraordinary relationship with one's parent. My dad feels like my best friend.
We can talk about anything or sit in silence. We can do any activity together or simply do nothing. Doesn't matter. Each other's company is more than enough.
When you're lucky enough to have that kind of person in your life, hold onto them with everything you can. They are what makes life worth living.

People say I have an eating disorder.
Because I've achieved perfect discipline of what I eat. It's taken me years to achieve this mastery.
Yet the reaction is to call it a disorder.
Should a straight A student get some Bs, Cs and Ds to avoid having a grade disorder?
Should an NBA player miss some shots to avoid having a shooting disorder?
Should an engineer introduce some bugs in the code to avoid having a code disorder?
We celebrate mastery of craft in other domains. Why not what we put into our bodies?
I'm accountable to my biomarkers and change the protocol according to the data.
Like any quest for mastery, this one can steer into unhealthy territory. But self control over food intake is as worthy of respect as mastery of any other craft.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.

I love America 🇺🇸
She is a magnificent aberration among the history of nations. A living defiance of the naysayers who said it couldn't be done. Proving a preposterous premise that a carefully constructed system of self-governance could self-propel against all odds of human nature.
We are four billion years into our evolution on this planet. In this moment, as we give birth to super intelligence and begin evolving ourselves into something new, I am grateful America is the cradle for what comes next.
That she nurtures the dreamers and doers, inviting them to deepen their imaginations and quicken their speed.
America the beautiful.
Thine alabaster cities gleam, undimmed by human tears.
