ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಈ STRR ಯೋಜನೆಯ 54 ಕಿ.ಮೀ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಭೂಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೇ ಭರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವೂ ಭೂಸ್ವಾಧೀನದ ವೆಚ್ಚವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಾವ ನ್ಯಾಯ? ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡುವುದೇ ಆದರೆ, ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಹೊಸೂರಿನ ಬದಲು ಅತ್ತಿಬೆಲೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೋಗಲಿ.

BBMP with its stupid Tunnel Road proposals has effectively killed public transport on the important N-S corridor.

Future generations will look at us as idiots for not building the complete network of metro and suburban rail on time.
