For those unaware, SpaceX has already shifted focus to building a self-growing city on the Moon, as we can potentially achieve that in less than 10 years, whereas Mars would take 20+ years.

The mission of SpaceX remains the same: extend consciousness and life as we know it to the stars.

It is only possible to travel to Mars when the planets align every 26 months (six month trip time), whereas we can launch to the Moon every 10 days (2 day trip time). This means we can iterate much faster to complete a Moon city than a Mars city.

That said, SpaceX will also strive to build a Mars city and begin doing so in about 5 to 7 years, but the overriding priority is securing the future of civilization and the Moon is faster.

I think the thing that pisses me off the most about progressives is that they assume they have the right to be offended by your politics and can't imagine that anyone would feel that way about theirs.

The number of friends who have said things to me like, "Oh well you know I am really offended by your politics but I let it go you're welcome I'm so generous to remain your friend despite all the horrible mean [true and honest] things you say [about reality] that offend my sensibilities" kinda thing and I'm like dude you understand that your politics are literally retarded and I don't say shit about it, yeah?

This is why so many of us left the left. The left of 30 years ago was the political home of human and civil rights, including the human rights of LGBs, a not corrupt free market system that worked for everyone, not just the top 1%, and protecting the environment.

Back then, protecting the environment meant protecting the environment, not the "climate". It meant not poisoning the air, the soil and the water we all need to survive.

The old left believed in bodily autonomy and would have absolutely and unconditionally rejected vaccine mandates.

The old left understood that a generous welfare state cannot coexist with open borders, and that people are not interchangeable units in a spreadsheet.

The old left believed in color-blind and sex-blind equality.

The old left supported freedom of speech.

But all that was when the left was mostly the political opposition. The more it became dominant, the more it started governing, the more its positions changed and the more it mutated into a dark and terrible totalitarianism.

This wasn’t an accident. It wasn’t incompetence. It wasn’t bad luck.
It was engineered.

Education has been dumbed down for years — standards lowered, exams softened, discipline rebranded as cruelty, and failure quietly removed so nobody’s feelings get bruised. Rigour was mocked as old-fashioned, knowledge sidelined, and critical thinking swapped for worksheets and approved opinions. And now we’re told to act shocked at the results.

History, if it’s taught at all, is no longer a coherent story of cause, consequence, triumph and tragedy. It’s been warped into a selective morality tale where context is dangerous, nuance is banned, and Britain is permanently cast as the villain of its own existence. Centuries flattened into slogans. Complexity replaced with guilt. Education turned into a scolding exercise.

Children aren’t taught how to think — they’re trained what to think. Ask the wrong question and you’re “problematic”. Reach the wrong conclusion and you’re “unsafe”. Disagree and suddenly you need correcting. That’s not education, that’s ideological grooming with a whiteboard marker.

Look at kids’ TV. Look at classroom materials. Look at the language. Everything is framed. Everything is loaded. Every so-called “discussion” mysteriously ends at the same approved conclusion. No balance. No debate. Just consensus, compliance, and applause for saying the right thing.

And it works — because people who don’t question are easier to manipulate. You don’t need jackboots or secret police anymore. You just lower standards, blur facts, reward obedience, punish dissent, and call it progress. Strip out logic, memory, debate and resilience, and suddenly slogans beat arguments, feelings beat facts, and offence beats truth.

A population that asks “am I allowed to say this?” instead of “is this true?” is already controlled.

Of course it’s sold as kindness. As inclusion. As safety. Because nothing says compassion like deliberately disarming young minds so they never threaten the narrative.

Here’s the test they hate: if a child can’t clearly explain the strongest argument against what they were taught, they weren’t educated — they were programmed.

Education should create thinkers, not recruits. Parents aren’t paranoid — they’re paying attention. And once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

We are horrified by the announcement of the PATHWAYS trial. As a charity representing lesbians, gays and bisexuals we are outraged that the lives of mostly LGB teenagers are held in such contempt that blocking their development has been given ethical approval.

We are supporting increasing numbers of detransitioned LGB people who are appalled that more children will be subjected to a trial of drugs we already know to be harmful. They now know they had difficulty accepting their homosexuality. They can attest to the effects of these drugs but have not been asked. All the evidence shows that lesbians, gay and bisexual young people make up the majority of those who will suffer.

Every detail of this planned trial is a disgrace. Recruiting children for a trial of drugs now known to be harmful, while more countries are banning them, is indefensible. The follow-up time is laughably short, the self-evaluation by the children is ridiculous and the expectation of “reasonable prospect of benefit” flies in the face of everything we now know about puberty blockers. Puberty is an essential stage in human development. Recruiting children who have been led to fear it, in the current online and social climate, verges on a criminal enterprise.

It is profoundly shocking that 9,000 children passed through the Tavistock GIDS - again, most of them lesbian, gay or bisexual - and their data have been lost or suppressed. This ill-fated trial must be cancelled. It is unworthy of a civilized society.
