@dgiambruno@usr_bin_roygbiv Not in a high performance team.
Everyone thrive to a goal.
Everyone is going to the same direction, the North Star. What is delivered is genuinely owned by the team, not an individual.
Low performers are spotted and removed quickly.
The grill-me skill is so undervalued!
Feature described, 12 questions, asked me about 2 edge cases I was implicitly thinking would be solved.

Thank you @mattpocockuk
Tech Lead: We need to rewrite the entire backend.
Developer: Why?
Tech Lead: It's messy.
Developer: It's been running in production for 4 years without a single outage.
Tech Lead: But the code isn't clean.
Developer: The users don't read the code.
Tech Lead: It'll be easier to maintain.
Developer: For who? The 3 of us who understand it right now?
Tech Lead: We'll use microservices this time.
Developer: We have 200 daily users.
Tech Lead: ...but what about scale?
Developer: We will cross that bridge when we get to 200,000 users.
"Let's rewrite it" is the most expensive sentence in software development 😭
Has your team ever rewritten something that didn't need rewriting? 👇
just installed this (first?) supply-chain antivirus for mac!
works via intercepting http requests. free and straightforward to setup. asks for every permission under the sun, so i am putting a lot of trust in aikido
at least it is easy on the battery!
Last weekend: 1 business guy + 1 dev + the right tools.
30 mins → 3 real prototype screens (he built them himself)
1 afternoon → MVP built and iterated twice
No designer. No handoffs. No sprints.
Lightning fast iterations. Business and tech speaking the same language, almost simultaneously.
Is there even a name for this? Extreme Agile? Pair Product development?
Org structures haven't caught up yet. A huge transformation is underway.
Experiencing this too? 👇

@thunkoid À registered and had a look. I love the interface, was not expecting a full design/animation software.
I’m a bit far from the intended public, but will give it a fair short this weekend.
@SteveTQuality 25 years crafting software, I would say not really. Testing has always been an afterthought for management. Most start caring when the customer reports are bad.
