950 years after it was embroidered somewhere in Kent, the world’s most famous tapestry, that isn’t a tapestry, is returning to its country of origin.
The scale of the loans seems quite out of balance. The whole of the Sutton Hoo treasure could easily fit in the average living room and the Chessmen only take up the area of … a chess board. 70 metres of linen on the other hand requires a lot more space.
@Bobbybeachside@MarcusHouse@elonmusk Likely had a GPS marker, which if knocked out of whack by more than a couple of inches/5cm would give inaccurate range/location data which could involve the booster crashing into or missing the tower.
