🔻Defense equipment worth $7.12 billion remained in #Afghanistan after the US withdrawal on August 30, 2021, the Pentagon said.

- The U.S. delivered a total of 427,300 combat weapons to the #Afghan military, with 300,000 remaining at the time of withdrawal, the Pentagon said.

- After the American withdrawal, these weapons came under the supervision of the Islamic Emirate and later reached the hands of anti-Pakistan groups, the Pentagon said.

- US arms militarily strengthen TTP and Baloch separatist groups.

- Due to this, the region witnessed a massive increase in terrorism during the last two years.

- The United States provided $18.6 billion in equipment to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces between 2005 and August 2021, the Pentagon said.

- Due to this open concession by the Islamic Emirate, the TTP has access to modern weapons such as the M24 sniper rifle, M4 carbines and M16A4.

- The former commanders of the IEA willingly handed over a substantial amount of these weapons to the #TTP

- These weapons helped the TTP to operate across the border.

- A video released by the TTP in August 2022 shows M24 sniper rifles, M16A4 rifles equipped with thermal scopes, M4 carbines with Trijicon ACOG scopes, DShKM heavy machine guns, and T-15mm heavy 5mm launchers.

- Through these weapons, TTP carried out terrorist activities in #Peshawar, #LakkiMarwat, #Bannu, and #DeraIsmailKhan and targeted police personnel.

- In 2022, a total of 118 police personnel were martyred in terrorist incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

- In the first four months of 2023, 120 police personnel were targeted by the TTP

- The Baloch Liberation Army also attacked FC camps in Nushki and Panjgur districts in February 2022 using the same weapons.

- TTP also used American weapons in the attack on Zhob Garrison on July 12, 2023.

- Prior to this incident, on May 16, 2023, the TTP had shared a few photos showing TTP terrorists undergoing training.

- In the photos, the fighters are seen armed with advanced weapons, including thermal vision helmets, rifles and laser sights.

- All these facts indicate that the Islamic Emirate is not only arming the TTP but also providing a safe haven for other terrorist organizations.
