I am a new age politician based in Bangladesh who dreams about bringing a social change to promote equality, human dignity and social justice for the mass
🇨🇦 has been a longstanding advocate for free, fair, inclusive and participatory elections in 🇧🇩. Today High Commissioner @AjitSinghCanada met with AB Party leadership where they discussed progress towards a peaceful and inclusive democratic transition.
This account should be reported for impersonating @realDonaldTrump in order to spread its virulent Hindutva propaganda and grift its way into receiving payouts from @x.
@pakistan_untold@SBHPage This video is more than 2 years old. The incident occurred over picking blackberries (Jam).
Propaganda handle are misleadingly sharing this old incident video as recent.
A Hindutva mob attacked the Bangladesh Assistant High Commission in the Indian city of Agartala today, where they desecrated the national flag of Bangladesh at the premises.
The Ministry of External Affairs of India condemned the incident, stating that diplomatic and consular properties should not be targeted.
The Indian government has announced increased security measures for the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi and other diplomatic missions across the country.
They:
- Criminalize mass uprisings
- Shelter the majority perpetrators & mercenaries
- kill a Muslim lawyer
- Spread anti-Bangladesh hates
- Support Hindutva elements
- Attack the Bangladesh mission in Agartala
- Incite unrest in Bangladesh
Yet, Bangladeshis continue to patience.
India is the world's biggest source of misinformation! Compared to that, Bangladesh has almost no misinformation at all. Let’s forgive them—they defecate on the streets, consume lies as truth, and dance in the name of blind faith. Let’s be better, let’s act better!
It’s about time India comes to the realization that their darling, their biggest asset Sheikh Hasina and her party @albd1971 have been emphatically booted out of Bangladesh. And no amount of deviousness on their side can put her back to power. She is a closed chapter and the deep sense of resentment and grievances that the people of Bangladesh feel is still very raw and burning.
What would be the wise way to proceed for India? Obviously, being the proud country that India is, it wouldn’t do a public mea culpa of its foreign policy. But as long as it does it in private and goes for a public redress, there is a good chance that the people of Bangladesh can move forward. In practice, India couldn’t act more boneheaded if it tried and it’s about time the country dials back its aggression.
India must unequivocally apologise for the attack on the Bangladesh assistant high commission in Agartala and pledge to bring those responsible for the attack to book. Without this, there can’t be a way forward.
Bangladesh, on the other hand, must also disclose its reasons for arresting Chinmoy Das. So far, there hasn’t been any clear communication on the reasons for his arrests, which is making me wonder if it was some impetuous move by someone in the government. It is evident that Hasina loyalists are still serving within the security and intelligence apparatus.
The Students Against Discrimination leaders must also tone down their rhetorics. I strongly condemn the trampling of the Indian flag in university campuses. I hope people remember that one doesn’t become more respected by disrespecting someone. Such dishonour to any country’s national emblem is unacceptable and is not scoring us any points — we are simply showing ourselves to be a classless bunch. I would urge all to think twice before taking any rash decisions — for the sake of our nation. Our aspiration is to build a decent, civilised and a tolerant society — let our thoughts and acts be towards that end.
The Hindus and the local media have a part to play in diffusing the tension. I would urge the Hindus to speak up in favour of their country — which is Bangladesh. Dear Hindu brothers and sisters, you owe it to your country to let the world know whether you are oppressed in Bangladesh or not, and if there is any concern, you will sort it out yourself — without India’s needless interference.
And the local media, show us your patriotism. If you are for a sovereign Bangladesh, please expose the Indian disinformation juggernaut — loud and clear. I’m yet to see any mainstream media speak on this issue. And @dailystarnews, do the right thing now. As the largest circulated English newspaper, your country needs you to control the narrative in English, the global language. If all local Bangladeshi media speak up against the Indian disinformation campaign, surely it is these links that will show up on top of Google’s search indexes and not the fake news by Indian portals.
C’mon, let’s all act like adults and get a handle on this situation.
People/political parties in #Bangladesh who still support the AL & say it should be forgiven…. this theft is what they are supporting, along with the fascism.
Indian propaganda has reached a new level with this incident!
India claimed that a Shamoly Paribahan bus, carrying Indian citizens, was intentionally attacked by a truck in Bangladesh. Some even alleged that later, locals threatened to kill the passengers after stopping the bus. This narrative is entirely false.
Here is the real story: The bus was traveling when a truck overtook it at high speed. The bus driver had to apply the emergency brakes suddenly, causing a three-wheeled small easy bike coming from behind to collide with the bus. Due to the abrupt stop, the easy bike was unable to avoid the collision and crashed into the back of the bus.
It is important to note that there was no collision between the truck and the bus. The truck simply overtook the bus and continued on its way. The bus’s sudden braking led to the easy bike’s accident. The easy bike driver sustained minor injuries, and locals sent him to the hospital. Since the crash occurred due to the bus’s sudden braking, the locals stopped the bus and argued with the driver (a typical practice, where the allegedly responsible vehicle is stopped and questioned). Later, highway police arrived and mediated between the bus authorities and the locals.
Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the bus is Bangladeshi-owned, the driver is Muslim, and the bus authorities are also based in Bangladesh. And the truck did not hit the bus. The bus and all the passengers were fine and safe
Despite these facts, India spread false propaganda about the incident.
Bus driver Md. Asadul Haque said, “While a truck overtaking us, I had to apply the emergency brakes and stop. At that moment, a three-wheeled covered van behind us collided with the bus and got stuck at the back. The matter was reported to the highway police, who arrived and removed the van using a wrecker. There was no damage to the bus, nor were any passengers injured in the accident.”
He further added, “There was no argument or any kind of trouble between the local people and the Indian passengers on the bus. I was surprised myself to see reports in the Indian media about an attack on the bus.”

The Hindu #Metei RSS group burnt down several churches in Manipur. The Manipur Government neglected all these criminal activities from the beginning of the violence.
Years of unchecked corruption and crony capitalism under #SheikhHasina regime have left #Bangladesh grappling with economic devastation, as detailed in the damning White Paper.
With $16 billion siphoned off annually, oligarchs flourished while public funds meant for education, health, and development were shamelessly plundered.
Shame on those people who shamelessly supported and defended Hasina and continue to do so.
This report is not just an exposé - it’s a call to action against a system that prioritized personal gain over national progress.
