A policemen wields an AK 47 during a student protest in Bihar. In Delhi an RAF personnel uses a pellet gun that is deployed in insurgency zones. A 19 year old boy is possibly blinded in one eye as a result. As a person with the utmost love for our men and women in uniform, I must point out that these acts have gravely dishonoured the uniform. Heads must roll. Not mere suspensions. But terminations and legal action. And by all means also legally act against anyone who assaulted a cop. But lets start as @Sherbir said on my show with even handed interventions and demonstrable punitive actions.
