@Alison_is_lost I wish bg3's main cast had diverse sexualities but im just never going to agree with "romanceable cast is pan = playersexual" when every character explicitly states their attraction to men. Also all of the prominent gay couples you left out. Idk this feels a little dishonest

@CVelkyar @Alison_is_lost I've come to the conclusion that a lot of people wont consider a character's queerness as legitimate if they dont have a scene where they look directly into the camera and explain the exact details of their sexuality

@QueenDragonie @profdekarios and personally I really don't much prefer inquistions "here's our gay man. here's our lesbian. here's our bi man, and here's our bi woman. Everyone else is straight" approach, it feel just as token and inorganic as bg3's "the entire cast is pan and openly acts like it"

They seem to project inquisitions' diverse sexualities onto every game they've made when DAI is the exception rather than the rule

@Cactuarian @CorbynRed I dont fully disagree, my main issue is that "playersexual" refers to characters who have no sexual expression or identity outside of their romance with the player, i.e fallout 4, not the entire romanceable cast is pan and therefore fundamentally doesn't count as being queer

because I find instantly deriving an entire game as playersexual with zero nuance because the romanceable cast is pan to be genuinely offensive

@CorbynRed I think I give up on this discourse, I have tons of issues with larian and how they handle sexuality in general I feel like everyone who talks about this in bg3 ignores a lot of in game dialogue and npcs while projecting dorian's romance onto every lqbtq+ DA character
