the event (we always do the first event of the day, and it's quite a drive, so normally get there about 10 minutes before the run starts) but we left after that, very disappointed.
Absolutely disgusted by the attitude of a representative of @LidlGB at #lidlmudder today. My 5 year old had finished the course and was in the Lidl Mudder village as always. She went on the smoothie bike (which is always a big hit) and the lady said "eeeeeew, mud!" ... well /1
You are at Lidl Mudder! While she was mixing her smoothie, a man came around with a tray of fruit for people to try. When she got off the bike she went to where the trays were kept, but the lady was stood in front of them. She waited patiently (that's hard for a 5 year old!) /2
Instead she was left crying. A lovely gentleman sorted her out with the fruit she wanted after I went over to him to ask who I should complain to, but sadly he didn't know anyone I should speak with there and then. We normally stay in the Lidl Mudder village for a while after /4
And the lady eventually turned around to her and said "where are your parents?" I waved as I was stood just on the other side of the bikes, and she said "can you remove her?" ... I thought the whole point of that was to get kids eating fruit, she wanted to try some but /3
@learntosew@asda This is absolutely disgusting! Thankfully I never had any comments from store staff during my breastfeeding days, but I did have some older ladies pass comment as I walked around Ikea while breastfeeding. I remember the fear the first time my eldest wanted to feed while in public
@DrRanj Our local theatre is having an event this weekend, and there was supposed to be a drag queen reading a story, but they've ended up cancelling the drag queen due to fear of public disturbance and hate being shared on social media π
Didn't expect to see the lovely @DrRanj in my daughter's school reading book today ... looks like a fun but informative book. Can't wait to get reading this with her.
π£ Thanks to our volunteer Sheila for running a fun #Easter craft event at #OswaldtwistleLibrary
Freya and Sofia both had a great time making an Easter chocolate boxes and fridge magnets.

@Ianblackford_MP Thank you for standing your ground! He partied on while my daughter spent her birthday with just me, her dad and her sister. Birthday party > cancelled. School > closed. Couldn't see her friends, aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents and great grandad. #JohnsonMustResign
@ThatMumboJumbo Omg, this is amazing! Zelda made me laugh, but when you're there I bet your mind goes blank and I bet they were kicking themselves afterwards thinking "of course, it ended in craft!"
Small businesses are at the heart of our communities, and I am so proud to support them today on #smallbizsaturday.
Labour is a pro-worker, pro-business party, and our business rates plan would save the average small factory or shop Β£4,000.
