This month is our 10 year anniversary which means it has been 10 whole years since we started Ladies That UX!!
To celebrate we have an evening of great speakers lined up and plenty of cake to go around! #LTUX
Back by popular demand Lightning Talks, Content Design special! ⚡ PLUS it’s our 10th Birthday!! 🥳 What better way to celebrate than with drinks, nibbles, cakes and to hear some amazing speakers. Thank you to @hippodigital! Get your tickets 👉 https://t.co/0uCZHs3wzX
Such a lovely and rewarding evening speaking to some wonderful women who are looking at taking the next step in their career.
Feeling very honoured to be asked to be a mentor and to be part of such a supportive network ❤️
Still on a high from our speed mentoring event last night, what a success! Huge thank you to @ArteBellamy, @doodle_em, Kate Every, @lizziedyson, Llara Geddes, @nat_crook and special guest appearance from Tim Keiff, for their time & expertise. We learned, we shared, we networked!
Our third mentor in our upcoming June Speed Mentoring event is another potentially familiar LTUX face for you all... 📢 @nat_crook, research and accessibility extraordinaire! Natalie leads up the UX research team and accessibility team at Auto Trader.
Really excited to be one of the mentors for this months LTUX event. Get signed up if you’d like to chat about all things research and accessibility! ❤️
Tickets are live! ⏱️ Think speed dating, but with mentors. Join us as a mentee 27th June to meet & learn from UCD experts. Our mentors have kindly offered up bookable 15 min slots to answer questions, share their experiences and support those needing it. https://t.co/pqTkEiaEG0
Our next event is speed mentoring.. that means mentors, we need you! With 6x 15 minute slots to meet aspiring UCD-ers, this will be fantastic opportunity to offer advice, and forge long-term professional relationships. DM us if you’d like to register your interest and hear more!
It's Global Accessibility Awareness Day! To celebrate we ran another workshop with colleagues to build empathy and understanding. Our sessions cover Hearing, Motor, and Vision disabilities as well as Neurodiversity. By raising awareness we hope to build better services. #GAAD
Pushed myself way out of my comfort zone today by doing not 1, but 2 talks at our company conference. Not sure I would recommend doing two 40 minute talks back to back, on different topics. But I’m glad we could share the work we have been doing on accessibility and research.
On Monday our Accessibility Working Group held our 10th (woohoo!) Intro to Accessibility workshop with another engaged group of Auto Trader colleagues. Over the next year we want to get 25% of the business to have attended our training as we think Accessibility is for everyone.
UK folks, super important. Photo ID will be required to vote for the next election, but University IDs won't work, risking the silencing of young voices. Students can now get a suitable photo ID for FREE from @nusuk 👇Please RT https://t.co/kBzUKfy04i
🚨Exciting event announcement🚨 ‘Have you ever wondered if your employer can really do that?’ Tuesday 18th April we’re bringing you a special talk from an experienced solicitor Sarah Russell. We cannot wait for this one! Grab your tickets 🎟️ > https://t.co/XaHaP4OgBP
