I really admire how the makeup community has come together to shower Esther with love & unwavering support. From brands, to magazines, to MUAs, to supporters everybody is continuously reminding her no matter what SHE is the innovator. If you ask me this has completely overshadowed Patrick’s blushes.
It is with an extreme heavy heart that I have come to the decision to share this information. Yesterday, on the 25/05/2026, my 12‑year‑old son was stopped, handcuffed, and searched by a Kent Police officer in Sevenoaks after briefly touching and playing with a loose stop sign.
Patrick Ta is a vulture. He stole a makeup technique & is now trying to gaslight the artist. And he couldn’t even be original with the shade combos, he basically copied Juvia’s Place. Btw these duos were released back in 2021.
47 years of living in the south and here’s what I know to be true. If they have a confederate flag on display, they’re doing awful things to kids, pets, and/or spouses. Lots of hate comes with that loser banner.
It’s controversial because people feel Patrick Ta didn’t just release blushes, he allegedly rebranded a technique/style heavily associated with PBE without proper credit, then sold it at luxury pricing ($88 for the set). His wording and teaching style in the launch videos was also a copy and paste of hers, he trademarked it AND there were also claims his team booked her for a glam session to study/film the technique before the launch. The issue isn’t just focused on “who invented blush” or a “technique” and more “who gets acknowledged and profits heavily from the trend.”
