Massive shoutout to @_austrian for handling the Monday Meltdown with: prompt info on the day, food, accommodation in town for as long as was needed, and first available flights back. Being stranded abroad for 2 extra days is stressful, but they provided care and certainty.
@flughafen_wien Zero announcements for delays and gate changes. Do you even have staff? I have seen not a single person working here in the last hour and a half. So far you’re taking the cake for Europe’s worst airport. Do better.
I can’t believe I’m doing this. Look. You don’t like Secret Cinema and wish someone else have gotten the funding. Gotcha. But let’s put a few things straight: a) it is not Tory, b) It pays everyone involved in their productions, c) It is much more theatre than it is cinema.
@rubyyyjones Well.. community involvement is for anyone who made a deal with council. I’ve seen some of SC done in that regard, and it’s always been decent work. As for volunteers, in the past, yes, but I don’t believe SC has used a single volunteer since Back To The Future.
@rubyyyjones I don’t disagree with you re: LLW and Equity minimum being below standard, or that the cast is definitely working extremely hard for their money; and, as is often the case, less money that they deserve. I would argue however that despite they are an entertainment company.
@rubyyyjones ... they do pay the cast equity wages and their FoH (lowest payed staff on recent couple of productions) London living wage. It’s not heaps of gold, but I would not call it below standard.
Huge amounts of love out there for Bridge Command by @_Parabolic_ - there is a new scenario going in this week. Come and see the remarkable things they’ve done with our basement. https://t.co/3wieb5bghQ
