You're supposed to use every unfair advantage you have. Looks, genetics, connections, dad's money, whatever.
There's nothing noble about choosing the hardest path just to feel like an underdog.
My niece loudly said "look at all this AI slop. They should be embarrassed to sell this" right in front of several booths at the festival and you know what? She's sooo right and I hope they heard her
it’s genuinely horrific to be 18-25 in the uk right now like every week someone i know loses their job for seemingly no reason, the only people i know who have a job right now are people in hospitality/retail and they are all begging for more hours it feels so hopeless

The UK 🇬🇧 is the only country in the west where people can work full time, pay their taxes on time, never claim a benefit in their life and still not be able to afford to buy a house.
In my entire adult life I dont think I've ever experienced an economic boom in the UK. Graduated a few years after the 2008 financial crisis, and ever since then it's been either economic stagnancy or recession. I would love to see what an optimistic, booming economy looks like.
All I want in life is to buy a 3 bed terraced house and have enough money for my kids and to run a car. A couple of decades ago that was standard. Now it feels like a pipe dream
