Single mum, teacher, music lover, wine drinker, cat lady, foodie, traveller, murder mystery reader & watcher. Genuinely about as interesting as all that sounds!
Nigel Farage hasn't bothered to vote in Parliament for the last 11 weeks.
During that time he will have collected about £50,000 in wages and expenses.
But he will tell you Disabled People and immigrants are the problem.
No, it's rich lazy parasites like him.
Nigel Farage has cancelled both of the Press events that were scheduled for today in Makerfield. He is refusing to have any interaction with the media, in particular any TV.
It beggars belief how many people would be prepared to vote for a party (I use the term loosely) without the first idea of what they stand for other than ‘Stop the boats’. 🤷♂️
Retweet far and wide.
The bonus of a bonkers day means I don’t have to worry about making lunch for work tomorrow. I can just eat the one meant for today! Winding towards the end of half term?! I wish!
You can't just "get over trauma." It literally changes the way your brain functions. It causes you to not trust people and feel like you're constantly at threat. Trauma can change you into an entirely different person. It's not something you can just get over.
7 hours of silence from the Prime Minister.
The US is using UK bases. The President is openly talking about destroying a civilisation.
And Downing Street says... nothing.
If you won’t speak up now, when will you?
Watching random TV tonight as I am so wiped out. I would like Stacey Solomon to come and sort my life out and then I’d like to go on a pilgrimage, despite not being religious at all. Not watched any other episodes of this series and I cried about 10 times!!
One month after starting the war in Iran, this is the statement of the President of the United States on Easter Sunday.
These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.
The ‘pitiful levels' of maternity pay and parental leave in teaching are a 'national scandal’, says @NASUWT's @MattWrack in response to research revealing the difficulties teachers face juggling their job with being a parent

This tribute to the 168 people, mostly schoolgirls, who were killed in the US bombing of the Shajareh Tayyebeha elementary school in Minab, Iran is a heartbreaking and stunning piece of art. Trump has still refused to admit any responsibility. 🥹🥹🥹👇

@archer_rs They are in general doing ok. Some silly school boy errors eg winter fuel payment which gave opposition an own goal to criticise. The constant press and media storm against them is imo unfounded.
@archer_rs My dad, 93, has seen many PMs.
He says Starmer is doing a good job despite relentless negativity from the media - he inherited a mess from the Tories, including Brexit, and has the unpredictable orange idiot to deal with also but he's quietly getting things done.
@archer_rs@cristo_burton It may be unpopular, but it’s true.
The problem is, whatever #Starmer does, the r/w press will attack him. It’s run by millionaire non-doms with only the interests of the rich at heart.
#GBNews is the other main problem: this is now #ReformTV, with constant anti Starmer rhetoric.
Unpopular opinion.
PM Starmer is doing a reasonable job in the UK when one considers the basket case he inherited. People have quickly forgotten Johnson, Truss and the biggest mistake of all, Brexit.
