Creating a @GreenerNHS.🟢
@MidYorkshireNHS have switched to the use of reusable tourniquets, meaning a reduction in both carbon emissions & costs.

@antongyan @otolaryngolofox Slight unfair putting independent and grammar together. One fee paying with extra support and one. ‘Normal’ school without the support.
Also area I grew up in grammar and high only, no option for comp schools.
@DrLou83 @CUH_NHS Perspective is everything. Imagine if that child urgently needed to go to theatre but there were not scubs left to allow the surgeon or anaesthetist to get changed and save the life.
I think asking to take scrubs is correct rather than just helping yourself.
Please please help us!! Imagine having nothing to wear when you get to work! Feel free to share ideas of how to manage this 😁 @UHP_NHS@jenloupitt@katygriffo
Delicious day with thanks to the generous team of @UHPAnaesthesia@UHP_NHS for their incredible homemade cakes to help raise funds. Organised by @DaveHu as part of his Transpyrenees challenge! Thank you to everyone that has donated £1,090 so far 👏, Best of luck David!
@AkbaniUmair Maybe, like at my trust we are fed up of people taking the scrubs home and leaving us with nothing to wear at work. We need to confront as it is stopping theatres running. Shouting however is not the best. If they are your own scrubs that you bought it’s a different matter.
‘I am sorry mum, I can blame the whole thing on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’
Heartbreaking
What will it take for @uhbtrust to be held to account @PreetKGillMP
Same is repeated by tens of messages I’m receiving from those that work there https://t.co/J6SuHe3B1h
@CleoKenington @GreenerNHS@ASGBI_MA@asgbi We tried to roll out across whole theatre suite. Unsuccessful as linen services could not support and wondered who was going to pay for the extra pillow cases/wash etc as they didn’t want their budget used. We needed 100 ish per day.
@trentconsultant Do what 1 car I saw recently. Print a copy of Highway Code, highlight relevant sections and stick to inside of window so they can read it.
@tute_tweets@UHP_NHS@AnnJamesNHS I believe this is allowed for non clinical areas at UHP. We were awaiting results from trial re using in clinical areas.
