Some news I've been holding onto for a little while... I'll be starting this PhD in October with @Beamish_Museum and @durham_uni! Very excited to get started, although it still hasn't really sunk in 😀

Lovely to be at the opening yesterday, and to see community members we've worked with over the whole length of the project - I stepped back to do the PhD but I know how much has gone into these buildings, and how much it means to so many people 🩷

Thanks to those who joined in the celebrations.
The new exhibits are part of the Remaking Beamish project which was supported by an £11.8million grant from @HeritageFundUK with thanks to National Lottery players.
