@KatelynBeaty I experienced this for a long time. Then I got married. Eventually we talked love languages. Physical touch is second to last for him, right before gifts.

I do think many confuse sexual desire w/ physical touch. They're different.

My husband dreamed last night that he went to a neighboring city and met me. Apparently, he really liked me and wanted to date me but was a bit concerned about telling me that he already had three children.

The good news is, I have the same three children, so we're cool.

@AmysMargin Despite never wanting chickens, he bought me some one day when I was sad. When he saw how much I loved them, he apologized for not getting them earlier and now he buys me new chicks every year so I always have chickens and it's adorable.

@emilykmay Honestly? I didn't yell at my oldest for a long, long time. I don't tend to yell, in general, so I just didn't.

But then came child two.

When parents say things like this, I always think, "Oooh, you just haven't met the right kid yet." ;)

A tornado touched down between my parents' house and ours last night.

My 3 yr old informed me that she "wealy doesn't like storms" b/c she doesn't like to have to use a "shlash light" & the sky "should NOT be gween" like that.

We're all good though & she slept well.

@jnicolemorgan In his defense, the one guy is not a husband/father yet (though he's got the attitude down).

In my defense, it's someone very close to me that he's pursuing and my ability to sit quiet was obliterated by my horror at the things coming out of his mouth.
