@SadtuNational and other unions teachers appointed after May 2015 are suffering without rental housing subsidy. We pay a lot on rent and we work just as hard as the other educators who are still renting but getting subsidy. This is unfair! It is time to scrape this agreement.

@SadtuNational Capped leave fell away, increases significantly shrunk, since 2015 housing allowance are no longer paid directly to new entrant lessees, since 2022 rural allowances fell away and educators have no rights and no protection. We want service bonus=annual salary.

@SadtuNational and other unions we don't want 3% increase and we don't want our pension because SARS is eating more then we do. We want a service bonus equivalent to a year's salary. That would help us out of debt. It is time unions ask us what we need and fight for that.

@CyrilRamaphosa @GovernmentZA if ministers and MP's can get all this all year long Mr President, why can't you consider giving public servants one bonus equivalent to a year's salary annually? That is what we need to get out of debt and just cover basic needs like a house. 3%=0
