We thank God in all situations. A gutting way to end the tournament. The support & togetherness we’ve felt has been special. Sorry we couldn’t take it all the way, we fought and gave it our all. We’ll build on this. Not finished yet though, we still have something to push for. 💚

Copied!😳😲😳
So many things happened this week, I have thoughts on some of them.
1. A Young Kenyan Prophetess Claims the World Will End on May 20. Here’s a direct quote, "I am a prophetess; at exactly 11:59 pm on May 20th, the world will end. I slept and dreamt that the world will end. So people should sell their belongings and stay indoors, and those in relationships, it won't end well,"
I would like to ask the prophetess, why should we sell our properies if the world is ending in two days? What would be the point of that if all of these wont matter in heaven?
Also, forghusake!!! Justice for those in relatinships o, what did we do?
Let the world not end in two days sha o, I have a trip to Paris soon for quick enjoyment, abeg o.
I'll tweet about this once, mute the tweet and go about my day.
The reason why the igbos will always be insulted and walked upon is because they've not learnt, what the other tribes have perfected - the ability to hold a grudge.
You're not forgiving. You're just gullible.
Economics does not give solutions; it provides options
Option A: Do not devalue; maintain Naira peg at $1:N500
Result?
1. Imports are subsidised
2. Fx reserves weaken
3. Remittance flow from CBN to P2P
4. No export incentive
Option B: Devalue $1: N1,400
1. Imports are expensive (good)
2. Fx reserves grow (less defense)
3. Remittance/FPI flow to CBN
4. Export incentive
The problem, however, is NOT the exchange rate; it’s the high cost of local production.
Thus, if the Naira is devalued, it makes imports expensive, thus making local substitution attractive.
The high cost of local manufacturing means the benefit of the devalued Naira is lost
When the federal government scrapped the petrol subsidy and unified Nigeria’s foreign exchange windows, praises trickled in from all corners of the world for President Bola Tinubu’s “bold show of political will”.
Commending the policies of the president, David Malpass, former president of the World Bank, had described them as “important steps toward currency stability, lower inflation, and reduced corruption in Africa’s most populous country.”
Amid the euphoria (mostly from the business community), GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Nigeria Plc, a major drug producer, ceased operations, citing FX challenges. Sanofi-Aventis Nigeria Limited, a French pharmaceutical company, followed suit three months later.
Soon, it became clear that companies existing in the country would have to contend with a tough operating climate as the praises initially elicited by the policies fizzled.

The causes of Naira Depreciation:
1. Insecurity.
2. Corruption.
3. Incompetence.
4. Monthly FAAC Disbursements.
5. The Massive Crude Oil Theft.
5. Low Foreign Direct Investments.
6. The N33 Trillion CBN’s Ways & Means.
Adams Oshiomhole passed a Vote of No Confidence on the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Yemi Cardoso. Yemi was accused of running a commercial bank under.
Binance & BDCs are only the symptom. Once FAAC is shared, members of the Executives rush down to their Aboki to change them into foreign currencies for warehousing.
Africa trying to compete with the West on Free Market is delusional. You cannot be whiter than the Pope. These are the reasons why the Naira is crashing against the Dollar. Don’t let the APC tell you otherwise.
Know your limitations & work within your means. Find African Solutions to your global problems like inflation & currency depreciation. Neoliberalism can never work in a Nigeria with less than zero comparative advantage.
I don't believe that audio of PO and Bishop Oyedepo is fake.
I am not sure AI is that good yet.
The tone changes, the loss of voice, the exasperation, while Bishop maintained his own demeanor throughout the convo.
With that said I don't hear anything wrong in what was said.
