Well more packs opened ≠ more money spent

Swap $100+ packs for $5 packs and obviously the number of openings can go up while spending drops

But the real eye-opener? only 35% of the top 100 spenders from the CC launch kept opening after the switch

Could be partly the -EV nature of pack opening catching up with people, top 10 spenders on @Pumpfun's Gachapon here all down pretty bad

Gachapon activity on pumpfun app has tapered off significantly since initial launch, with spending declining further following replacement of Collector Crypt packs with Phygitals packs on October 24.

Daily Gachapon spending has fallen from highs of $8m during initial CC launch to ~$660k with Phygitals.

While spending has declined, number of packs opened has increased driven by lower value packs. Average pack opened size has dropped from over $100+ with CC to ~$15 with Phygitals with a bulk of pack openings contributed by $5 packs.

Beyond shift in pack size, user participation has also declined particularly among original high spenders.

Out of the top 100 Gachapon spender on pumpfun app during CC launch, only 35% has continued opening packs since the switch to Phygitals. These same 100 users on pumpfun app collectively spend ~$7m during first 5 days of CC launch, compared to just $580k over first 2+ days following Phygitals introduction.
