@Sw1ftC0d3r@pduan Yeah, I've had the same issue, and the opposite issue (car believes the speed limit is 65 and is going that speed; it's actually 40.) Dataset will get updated eventually, but it's really nice to be able to override while the data is wrong!
@pduan So we have no way to tell the car "yes, you can speed, but not more than 9mph over?" And if the car thinks the speed limit is 65 when it's actually 40, we have no way to allow FSD to continue driving, but go slower, until the map is fixed?
@Wescott_v3@NeonNoodle22@ID_AA_Carmack I'd also hope that the author (and whoever they authorize) would be the one to consume the analytics and make the changes. That plus full revision history would be neat. If Amazon can modify the books content, game over.
@93xhams Just blew my ears out after dropping my daughter off! "Hey, where's the sound? I better turn it up! ..what the heck? Oh, let's see if it's a station problem... AHH!
@rpilocator@Raspberry_Pi The only board I'd really call "better" would be the Jetson series. Also much more expensive targeting a different market.
There are lots of other great boards, especially if you need more niche features.. but none of them have the software and community support.
@bpz228@rpilocator Adafruit is the simplest, since they require 2FA. Just be sure to keep your account logged in, subscribe to the Twitter feed for the locator, and check the alerts and move quickly when in stock!
@rpilocator They must have had a lot, I managed to get one too! Oddly, it ended up costing more with shipping than the one I ordered from the UK this morning.. but it'll be here a heck of a lot sooner.
