@CarsonTalkMoney I have been adding a lot if $GOOGL here. Not really a great reason for the drawdown. Earnings are amazing. That and i just dont trust zuckerburg lol
Pretty brutal morning for anyone thats not in semis or datacenter names. I understand that $GOOG free cash flow was negative for the first time in many many quarters, but I don't think you can expect them to dedicate so much money to Capex and still everything else remain perfect. As some people say, you can't have your cake and eat it to. I think the market is also taking down many other big tech names because their earnings next week will most likely say the same thing. At this point I hope they take these names lower, because it will be a great opportunity to purchase growing companies for cheap!
At what point do the semis and software move together? Every day its inverse. I understand the narrative, but I also don't think it can do this forever. What has to happen for software to not dump every time semis have a good day?
Good Morning!
Seems like the market might finally be reacting to increased oil prices. Bonds are also up again which the market has been seeming to ignore as well. The story of the day is by far the big earnings reports after hours today with all eyes seeming to be on $GOOG. Along with other big names including $TSLA $IBM and $NOW. I would imagine we won't see any crazy price action today due to the uncertainty with Google Capex.
So much money able to be saved here. Even without taking away private school.(which should still probably be cut out) For starters you can cut 1-2 weeks of vacation. That frees up 6k annually alone. If we were serious about freeing up cash we wouldnt be donating to charity for now. 3600 on entertainment is a stretch as well. You can cut out the sporting events unless its the children playing in the event. If you are taking multiple vacations you also probably dont need a lot of weekend getaways. Especially living in one of the relevant cities, there is plenty to do.
