@The3rdSub Not sure what Sabaly brings. I assume they see something in training that just hasn’t translated yet. Struggles in 1v1 and can’t seem to get in a cross.
@AsaRehman@canadian_magpie Badwal has it in his locker. When called upon and given time, he will fill this role. He’s not a finisher, but he has the vision, ability to dictate tempo. So many doubted him a year ago…look at his progression already.
@gazzajn I blame the English assistant coaches 😬. What a terrible decision. They were dictating the game. Gordon was positive. Some terrible decisions.
@jamessharman@footy_prime This was suppose to be a new England philosophy…why park the bus with that much time left??? This was an attacking English team 🤷🏻♂️
@BatchHockey I could be wrong but I believe the only other time this has been called was US vs Paraguay weeks ago. Right call but feels harsh as there has been so much simulation.
Apparently it’s being reported that #FIFA is now allowing the US soccer federation to immediately nationalize any player from an eliminated nation and add them to their roster to play effective immediately.
@SatiarShah The fact there is expectation now is incredible. The fact we are disappointed in the result is incredible. It wasn’t long ago we were getting drilled 8-1 by Honduras in qualifying. What a step.
@AsaRehman It’s getting frustrating with contact being the decider. It’s a contact sport. There needs to be some physicality allowed. That was beyond front post hoping for contact, where he found minimal contact. Never clear and obvious to over turn.
@BatchHockey In all fairness that keeper stood on his head and a penalty shout. That could have been 3-1 at half and then all would have been wonderful again.
