I recently saw this post on Reddit that mentioned @expo was a scam...
Is this something I need to look into?
I've just started building mobile apps with Expo and have so far loved it.

@SebastianRoehl@HabitKit You deserve the break over the holidays! 😊
I started using HabitKit this week and I must say, it’s one of the few apps that has encouraged me (even if it’s just subtly) to continue my habits.
So thank you.
I'm going to share my experience of "learning-by-doing" while rebuilding my FF app in React Native.
I'd love to meet others who are on the same journey and would greatly appreciate advice and insights from experienced React developers.
2. FF updates cause breaking changes. I don't think I've ever come back to FF after an update and not had to spend an entire day debugging and fixing breaking changes.
I've been learning React and React Native over the last couple of months and I've realised that coding isn't that hard, it just takes time and a little brain power.
1. FF is a good tool to build simple apps fast. But the moment you need anything custom, you need to dive into the code anyway, and FlutterFlow makes that REALLY hard.
@vrg_jacint@expo Can you please tell me what you mean by ‘upgrading’?
I’m new to react native and I was having a mental discussion with myself today about whether I should use expo or just react native.
The FlutterFlow community is like no other.
I met a guy here on X yesterday and asked him for some help implementing in-app events with AppsFlyer.
He took the time to help me out even though he doesn't really know me.
Thank you @neilspaul !!
I want to meet more solopreneurs who are building apps to create lifestyle businesses.
Can be with lowcode tools like FlutterFlow/Bubble, React, native code, or whatever.
It's more fun to build together, but still solo.
