@CharlieFelix Another problem area is contesting kicks. It's almost too risky to do so now. High chance of card worthy collision even when genuinely trying to contest for the ball. Imagine a game where intercepts, kick contests and charge downs will no longer be worth the risk or banned?

@CharlieFelix @CharlieFelix what's your view on players being sent off for a deliberate knock down when going for an attempted intercept pass? A few yellow cards given recently in the NH v SH series for what looked to me as genuine attempts.

@CharlieFelix Could I cheekily suggest that all the 'deliberate' stoppages by NH and other 'forward oriented' teams is what is ruining the entertainment value? A huddle before every line out. Stoppages for injuries. Count the number of times Peter O'Mahony went down injured in the second test.

@CharlieFelix I don't think there is a disconnect. More that NZers want to see player welfare protected AND the rugby spectacle not ruined by the consequence of red cards. I vote 20-min red card and a longer game ban.

@gavreilly Yep. And perhaps AB’s would have won if Irish backs didn’t hold their opposites back off the ball, were penalised for running behind a screen of players (shepherding), Porters 2nd try had been deemed not grounded, O'Mahony didnt waste time, & Beaudy was subbed for tooth fairy 😉

Hugely disappointed to hear @mcewenrobbie has been cut from the @CyclingCentral @SBSSport commentary team. Robbie’s commentary and insights were on another level. This leaves a massive hole in the team and the commentary won’t be the same. Thanks for your commentary Robbie 👏🏼 👊
