@AlphaBalzer Have you seen https://t.co/iYuH7Mfj0G ? I haven't tried publishing yet, but so far it looks like a massive time saver. Lightyears better than the CoPilot planning tool in the current PowerPlatform that I wasted too much time wrangling. This works agent style!
Engineers and stuntmen test the splitting car from Malcolm (1986)'.
Loving the 1980s OH&S. Imagine the permits and fees you'd need to test this on a main street these days :-)

@the_mewc@hakluke Probably not because, unless it changed, payphones haven’t had ringers or anything show up for an incoming call. So someone would have to camp out and wait til someone picked up the handset by chance.
I’m watching some Telecom Mobilenet adverts nostalgically…and stumbled across this one. Imagine a company like Tel$tra advertising that analogue might still be a decent choice for some folks and not demanding a digital cutover these days. Wow.

@sharbel “You don’t understand what just happened…” , well no because this is the first line of your post… shall I read on to find out if I understand?
@AlphaBalzer that is a clever test image! Consistent text skewed with the perspective, etc. It took me a moment to realise what was cool about the image... then... ooh.. nice!! :-)
@NASA Does the Orion spacecraft have LiDAR scanners or some other tech for capturing lots of data about the surface of the moon? Possibly some capability that wasn’t around back in the 70s?
While I did really appreciate the words before the Artemis II crew orbits into LoS on the far side of the moon, imagine the fun they could have had with the LoS moment by intentionally truncating some speech. “Oh it’s beautiful…it’s clear that the meaning of life is…”
@JessePeltan@wholemars Anyone else’s mind go to a Simpsons episode and the line “this is the room with electricity, but it has too much electricity, so you might want to wear a hat” ?
(or words to the effect :-) )
@tiktokinspector if you haven’t seen this yet…enjoy! You know how some of your clients need to fork out many $$$ to fix stuff when a builder saves a few $ with a dodgy ‘she’ll be right’ alternative. This one is next level. Save ~$250K = ~$4M to fix! https://t.co/w5YrR6luSB
@eviljunglelord@elonmusk Countries all over the world have actually 'felt it' via things like distrupted supply chains for things like grain, etc back in the beginning. I don't think he was meaning 'you will feel it' as a threat of war, etc. He was trying to clarify before he was totally cut off by Trump
