@caleb_gage I see that you talking about people’s views. But I don’t think euthanasia is premeditated murder. If you have a right to life you should have a right to death. And there are some abortions I don’t think should be classified as murder either

I am currently assisting with some lectures on the AEA program. During my lecture I noticed that the class was getting sleepy. The students were tired because they had done PT before class. So I asked them to stand up and move around the classroom to wake up a bit.

When I asked them to go back to their seats, they said they would remain standing because it helped keep them awake. So I conducted the rest of the lecture with the students standing. The students were more interactive and happy and they felt included in the lesson.

When I was a student I treated a patient who had been involved in an MVA on a cold Joburg winter’s morning. He needed to be extricated What I remember most about that call was that the patient asked for a blanket before analgesia #keepyourpatientswarm

Great article in Annals of Emergency Medicine with a current look at fluid strategies and upcoming trial. I still think a restrictive approach to fluids will be the way of the future and I think the CLOVERS trial will have similar results as the FEAST, SSSPT and CLASSIC.
