The Vikings enter the new season with high hopes of restoring the proud tradition of Nolan Catholic football. While the team will miss the leadership of Carter Devero, now continuing his career at Hendrix College, they return a solid core of experienced playmakers. Leading the way are veteran standouts Aaron Morales and Jake Werline, both of whom bring multiple years of varsity experience and leadership to the field.

The team did suffer key losses in the offseason, including the departures of William Terry and Alec Andrews, who transferred to district rival Liberty Christian. However, the Vikings added promising talent in quarterback Houston Hartung and dynamic running back JoJo Irving, injecting new energy into the offense.

With a mix of returning experience and new contributors, the Vikings are aiming for steady improvement this season. Realistically, the ceiling for this year’s squad is around four wins, but with continued development and a strong team culture, Nolan Catholic is laying the foundation for a brighter future.
