Affirm professional inclusion: for many subjects, there are several inspiring role models in senior positions that can be included in your slides. Think about showcasing a variety of protected characteristics.
Do you want to create a more collaborative and inclusive classroom for your students? Incorporating low to no stakes group learning opportunities can help. Here are five tips to get you started ๐ ๐งต
3. Encourage collaboration: this can help students learn from each other and gain new perspectives

Create an open resource list to help include more representative materials in the curriculum. Having an online word doc open to students to add materials can create a diverse knowledge bank for future cohorts.
Higher education should be a safe space for all students and faculty, regardless of their race. Steps such as making data more accessible to all staff, and understanding overt and covert forms of racism are all helpful in kickstarting an #antiracist journey in higher education
