What does CAN stand for again?
Christian Association of Nigeria? Or maybe Cowards Amassing Naira? Or Crooks Astray in Nigeria? After this week, it’s genuinely hard to tell.
🔥🔥🔥
Black Sunday. Big solemn statement. Lots of language about “forces of evil” and “resilience” and the urgent need for prayer.
The wolf is eating the sheep.
CAN is telling the sheep to look the other direction.
Jesus called out the Pharisees for their phylacteries — those little scripture boxes they strapped to their foreheads so the crowd could see how holy they were. Made them extra wide. Made sure they caught the light. Look at us. Look at how we stand for God.
Meanwhile the sheep were being slaughtered and they were counting the offerings.
CAN has mastered the phylactery.
The statements. The solemn observances. The Black Sunday press releases with all the right words in all the right order. The interfaith banquets. The titles and the platforms and the cameras.
But Paul told you what this fight actually is.
Ephesians 6:12. Written from a prison cell. “We do not wrestle with flesh and blood — we wrestle with principalities, with powers, with rulers of darkness, with spiritual forces of wickedness in high places.”
That verse is not a permission slip to stay vague. It is a command to go deeper. To identify the spirit behind the spear. To name it. To call it out. To confront it.
That is what spiritual leaders are for.
The spirit behind the slaughter in Nigeria has a name. It has a doctrine, a throne, and a 222-year track record. It is not hiding. The men who serve it announce it from the rooftops and write it in their founding documents.
It is called Islamic Jihad.
For some reason, CAN cannot say those two words. So instead, the flock gets “forces of evil” and “resilience” and a prayer for President Tinubu’s wisdom and determination. Resilience. Unity. Prayer.
Look over here, sheep. Not over there at the wolf devouring your brothers and sisters.
That is not a shepherd. That is a distraction.
John 10: “The hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away.” The hired hand sees the wolf and runs. Sometimes straight into the arms of the government that feeds it.
Jesus called this crowd whitewashed tombs. Brood of vipers. I’ll add: Cowards. Hirelings. And in too many cases — bloodsucking dragons in a collar, more worried about the offering plate than the blood on the floor.
Nigerias Christians are not dying for lack of prayer. They are dying because the men God positioned between them and the wolf keep turning them around to face the other way.
Paul named the powers and put on the armor. Jesus walked into the temple with a whip.
Will the real shepherds please stand up?

Currently Kautikari Village in Chibok is being attacked. If I'm not mistaken, this particular town has been attacked more than 100 times mostly with serious casualties. The last one we lost our key vigilante members who have been critical in securing the village which is the second largest after Chibok the LG HQ.
Please do something so this is not fallen, if that happens, Chibok will be overturned by the terrorists.

If there is one thing I hold dear from all the many lessons that Dr Oby Ezekwesili @obyezeks has taught me, is that INTEGRITY IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL IT IS CONSISTENT!!!
Thank you Ma!!!
I love you so much!!!
I’m now reduced to begging. I have no job, no opportunities, and nothing to hold on to, all because of bad governance. Tinubu has turned things from bad to worse. None of the promises he made has been kept.
How did we get here? This suffering is too much.

Israel is crumbling high-rise building and leveling towns, villages and tunnels in search of the abducted Israelis by terrorists. They are not ready to allow one person, not even a dead body to stay unaccounted for.
In our case in Nigeria, terrorists are so pampered to repeatedly attack school and abduct little children in addition to sacking of villages and towns and taking over farmlands rendering agricultural production in many places a total taboo.
They beat and behead our citizens with fun and share the Gorey images and videos in our faces and taunt the Commander in Chief.
Our services chiefs are busy carrying well attached uniforms and sticks around with zero strategy on dealing ruthlessly with the terrorists that are not everywhere including the FCT.
If you cannot do anything as a country to end this, are supposed to be pushed to action with the recent abductions of little children, this is the height of provocation to our collective sensibilities.
I'm tired of ranting honestly.
A WARNING TO THE PRESIDENT @officialABAT , GOVERNMENT @NigeriaGov , @nassnigeria@NGRSenate@HouseNGR Governors’ Forum @NGFSecretariat and State Houses of Assembly AND THE NIGERIAN POLITICAL CLASS OF NIGERIA AT LARGE:
DO NOT DARE WISH OUR CHILDREN “HAPPY CHILDREN’S DAY” TODAY .
To the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Vice President, the Governors of the 36 States, the Federal Executive Council, the Members of the National Assembly, the State Houses of Assembly, and the entire political class that has captured and destroyed the Nigeria State:
Do not dare.
Do not dare open your mouths on May 27 to wish Nigerian children a “Happy Children’s Day.” Do not dare release the recycled, ghost-written platitudes your media handlers have already drafted. Do not dare stand in front of cameras, surrounded by carefully arranged children in matching uniforms, to perform a tenderness you have never extended to the millions of Nigerian children you have abandoned, betrayed, and condemned to lives of suffering.
You have no moral standing to wish anything to Nigerian children. None.
Consider what you are dishonorably wishing them.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 39 students and 7 teachers seized only days ago, on 15 May 2026, from a secondary school and two primary schools in Ahoro Esinele community in Oriire district of Oyo State- children aged between two and sixteen , snatched from the southwest in a chilling expansion of a terror that you swore would be confined to the north.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 25 schoolgirls of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School in Maga, Wasagu/Danko, Kebbi State, taken from their hostel at dawn on 18 November 2025, after gunmen killed the vice principal and most of whom are still missing as I write.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 303 students and 12 teachers of St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Niger State, seized on 21 November 2025 - children aged 10 to 18, boys and girls- whose abduction forced more than 20,000 Nigerian schools to close indefinitely .
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 287 students of the Government Secondary School in Kuriga, Kaduna State, taken by gunmen on motorcycles on 7 March 2024 in broad daylight while you and your political colleagues posed for swearing-in photographs.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the 15 children of Gidan Bakuso, Sokoto State, seized from their boarding school on 9 March 2024 as they slept.
You are wishing to the Chibok girls- over 90 of whom are still missing, twelve years after April 14, 2014, while you have moved on, and for your repugnant luxury, speedily rebuilt and redecorated Aso Villa, bought opulent hideous cars, and rotated power among yourselves as if those girls never existed. But their parents who gave birth to them continue to grieve and daily rain curses on the evil leaders that have shown no empathy towards them and their abducted daughters.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the children of Dapchi, Kankara, Kagara, Jangebe, Afaka, Greenfield, Bethel Baptist, Tegina - and to the many whose abductions never made the headlines because Nigeria had run out of capacity to grieve.
You are wishing “Happy Children’s Day” to the at least 1,799 students seized in a dozen of the largest abductions since Chibok , and to the 670 children affected by at least 10 school kidnappings in less than two years - a litany of horror compiled not by your security agencies, but by international human rights organisations doing the work your government refuses to do.
Part One ………..
To every Nigerian who spoke up, reposted, prayed, protested, or stood for me in any way, thank you. If Nigerians had remained silent, maybe I would have been gone forever.
What I went through has only made my belief in a better Nigeria stronger. Someday, the child of nobody will truly become somebody without knowing anybody.
God bless you Nigerians 🇳🇬
Justice can never be cracked.
That was such a powerful statement and for me, the real meat of yesterday’s conversation!
PDP must have learnt from its 2023 miscalculation!
