There’s something really special about seeing a town come together, and yesterday’s Boston Running Festival 2026 was exactly that. 🏃♂️
It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the event, supporting with the launch social media and working closely alongside the Race Director and Committee Chair throughout the day to help everything run as smoothly as possible.
With over 2,000 runners taking part across four races, the atmosphere across Boston was incredible from start to finish. From early morning setup to the final finishers crossing the line, it was a true showcase of community spirit, teamwork, and months of hard work coming to life.
We were also proud to deliver live coverage throughout the day via Boston VIBE, helping to capture and share the energy of the event with the wider community.
📸 Photos captured by Bartosz Fedkowicz at the start line, and with the fantastic Nik 'n' Mix.
A huge well done to everyone involved, organisers, volunteers, sponsors, and of course every single runner who took part. Events like this don’t just happen, they’re built on passion, dedication, and collaboration.
Already looking forward to what 2027 brings 👀
And just like that, another press release is published shouting about the fantastic work that @LincolnshireCAT responders do.
Hopefully our PR partners do their job and get it circulated 🤣🤣
Our volunteer responders were out across Lincolnshire on Saturday night, working alongside @LincsPolice to clear multiple fallen trees and keep key routes moving following Storm Dave’s high winds.
From a major blockage on Canwick Hill in Lincoln to incidents on the A631 and A46, the team attended 12 callouts in challenging conditions.

950 miles. 4 days. 4 incredible shows. 🚗💨
What a few days it’s been… starting with Thank You For The Music in @VenueCymru, Llandudno, onto The Glam Rock Show in @RosesTheatre, Tewkesbury, then a stunning performance from the @WeAreVSQ in @DerbyCathedral, and wrapping it all up with The Rocket Man in @GCTStevenage. 🎶
Each one completely different, but every single one just as enjoyable, great venues, brilliant performances, and that buzz you only get from live shows and of course the a-team on each with Chris Morley and I.
Massive thanks to Boston Van Hire for keeping us moving all over the country without a hitch, absolutely spot on as always 🙌
That’s another 4 dates ticked off, bringing us to 20 completed so far this year… and we’re only just getting started 👀
Also great to catch up with @jammytaylor in Stevenage last night, always nice when paths cross on the road!
An amazing few days away, plenty of miles, plenty of memories… but I won’t lie, it felt VERY good to finally get home and have a proper sleep 😴
Ready to go again soon 🔥

💙 PLEASE READ - BOSTON VIBE 💙
Over the last couple of years, Boston VIBE has grown into something I’m genuinely proud of.
What started as a simple idea has become a trusted local news and community platform for Boston, covering everything from breaking news and court reports to events, businesses, and the stories that matter to our town.
The bit most people don’t see? I run the entire thing in my own time, alongside everything else I do, with no funding, no grants, no backing. Just a lot of late nights, early mornings, and a genuine belief that Boston deserves strong, independent local media.
Boston VIBE exists because the community engages with it, shares it, tips us off, and reads it. And for that, I’m massively grateful.
Recently, I’ve set up a small “support the work” page through Buy Me A Coffee.
There’s absolutely no pressure, but if you’ve found value in what I’ve built over the last couple of years, and you’d like to contribute to help keep it going and growing, I’d be incredibly thankful.
Every bit of support goes straight back into improving coverage, the platform, and what we can offer the town.
Thank you to everyone who reads, shares, messages, and supports Boston VIBE, it genuinely means more than you probably realise. 💙

What a month November has been! We started with some incredible fireworks displays and much-needed family time. Hearing our (then) 10-month-old going “ooo” and “ahhh” as the sky lit up was unforgettable.
The month opened with @LynetteLeith OBE taking over at Boston College from the inspirational Claire Foster, who retired after 30+ years in education. I’m hoping to meeting Lynette in the New Year and exploring the new Boston Mayflower campus, part-funded by @BostonTownDeal.
We then saw reports of an unexploded WWII bomb which led to brief evacuations in the town centre. Thankfully it turned out to be a clay pipe, but as always, @bostonvibeuk was on site throughout, rain, wind, and all.
We entered a period of remembrance, honouring the heroes who sacrificed everything for our country. I was proud to lay the official @bostonvibeuk wreath at Boston’s war memorial. My father and I also attended the funeral of Chris Keane, former District Commissioner of Boston District Scouts, a true family man who dedicated his life to supporting young people. He made a difference to everyone he met.
Storm Claudia followed shortly after, and our @LincolnshireCAT responders were mobilised on behalf of @LincsPolice, dealing with nearly 20 incidents across Lincolnshire involving fallen trees in just a few hours.
Mid-month came the @missenglandnews Grand Finals in Wolverhampton. My creative and event management background was put to full use alongside Angie Beasley, Danny Thompson, the Miss England Office and The Grand Station. Congratulations to Grace Richardson from Leicester, crowned the new Miss England.
Once home, it was straight into rehearsals for Swineshead’s Got Talent (maybe), a community panto filled with laughter. A festive highlight was Caitlin and I enjoying Step Into Christmas, a wonderfully produced show by James Taylor with impeccable vocals the @Entertainers_UK team.
Then it was back into business mode as we launched Elise Joy’s hospitality and bar division, showcasing our mobile bar at @Bostonboro's Christmas Market. The weather wasn’t on our side, but that’s hospitality for you, unpredictable as ever.
And… I’ve somehow ended up working in a Boston nightclub again this festive season!
Despite everything, I’ve still enjoyed plenty of quality family time.
In @bostonvibeuk HQ, we published over 60 news stories with readership just under 55,000. While down from October, our quality remains strong. With three weather warnings, including Storm Claudia, we ensured fast, accurate updates from the @metoffice and @EnvAgencyMids, and were out on the ground reporting road closures as they happened.
Another full, unforgettable month - bring on December! 🎄✨
Three days into December… and I’m yet to even start writing my November round-up. Normally I like to take a moment at the start of each month to reflect, but the pace of news in Boston right now has other ideas!
At @bostonvibeuk, we’ve hit the ground running this December. In the space of just a few days, we’ve been leading on some of the biggest breaking stories in the area.
Last night, we covered the devastating fire in Old Leake which saw six appliances from across Lincolnshire fighting a blaze in a barn through the night. Our reporting included updates from @LincsFireRescue and @networkrail after significant damage was caused to railway equipment. It was a major incident, and our audience engagement reflected just how seriously the community took it.
And then today brought another major headline, quite literally a big hole story. A large sink hole suddenly appeared on one of Boston’s busy roads, forcing a full closure while officials investigate the cause. Once again, readers have been flocking to Boston VIBE to stay informed, with the story quickly becoming one of our most-read pieces of the month so far.
This level of interest shows exactly why quality, reliable, local journalism matters. And it’s why we go the extra mile.
While many news outlets rely on stock images or second-hand reports, at 11pm last night I was out on the scene capturing real, genuine photographs, because authenticity is at the heart of what we do. Our readers deserve to see what’s actually happening in their town, not a placeholder image from a library.
That commitment to accuracy and truth is what sets Boston VIBE apart.
No shortcuts. No recycled content. Just honest, timely reporting for the people who live and work here.
So yes… the November round-up will land soon (I promise!), but only once the news calms down long enough to let me write it. Until then, we’ll keep doing what we do best: telling Boston’s stories, as they happen, from the ground.
It's safe to say day 2 of the @missenglandnews finals has a cold start!
I filmed a highlight video which we showed to 200+ guests, of what our fantastic contestants got up to!

Finals week, we’re ready! 💫
Today, I was truly honoured and proud to lay a wreath on behalf of Boston VIBE at Boston’s War Memorial for Remembrance Day.
It was a moment of reflection and gratitude, remembering the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who gave everything for our freedom.
It was also heartening to see so many members of our community, including students from local schools, coming together to pay their respects.
#LestWeForget #RemembranceDay #BostonUK #Community
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
#remembranceday#wewillrememberthem#lestweforget#bostonuk
It’s always humbling to pause and reflect on the sacrifices made by so many. Today’s service may have been a smaller gathering, but it carried the same weight of meaning and respect as the larger events held over the weekend.
Standing before the War Memorial, surrounded by young people, civic leaders and members of our community, reminds us all that remembrance isn’t just about looking back – it’s about ensuring that those lessons, that courage and that spirit of unity live on through us.
It was particularly powerful to see so many local schools involved, with pupils laying wreaths and taking part with such dignity. The act of remembrance is being passed down to the next generation, and that’s something truly special for Boston.
🇬🇧 Boston Remembers the Fallen
Proud to have laid a wreath on behalf of @bostonvibeuk this morning at Boston’s War Memorial in honour of the fallen. 🌺
It was heartening to see so many students from our local schools attending and paying their respects, a powerful reminder that the legacy of remembrance continues through the next generation.
#LestWeForget #BostonUK #RemembranceDay
This morning, I had the honour of joining hundreds of others in Boston for the annual Remembrance Sunday service. Walking through the town as part of the procession and standing alongside so many who came to pay their respects was truly moving.
Seeing generations, from veterans to young cadets, united in silence was a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy today. It’s moments like these that make me incredibly proud of our community and its spirit of remembrance.
We will remember them. 🌺 #LestWeForget #BostonUK #RemembranceSunday #Community
Honoured to Remember 🎖️
This morning, I was deeply honoured to take part in Boston’s Remembrance Sunday commemorations and join the procession through the town.
It’s always a moving occasion to see our community come together to pay respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, servicemen and women, past and present.
Lest we forget. ❤️🌹

It’s been an interesting 24 hours in Boston.
A bomb scare on Tuesday certainly made for a dramatic start to the week!
Throughout the day, @bostonvibeuk provided consistent press coverage to ensure residents were kept up to date with the latest information from @LincsPolice and @Bostonboro.
After around nine hours of evacuations and investigations, Explosive Ordnance experts confirmed the device to be nothing more than a clay pipe, allowing everyone to safely return home.
There’s been a lot of negativity on social media, but one thing is clear, this could have been far worse. If it had turned out to be an actual explosive, the consequences could have been devastating, with lives and homes potentially lost.
Let’s be grateful that everyone is safe and that our emergency services acted swiftly and professionally to protect our community. 👏
Deeply concerned and saddened to hear about the horrifying attack on an LNER service this evening in which multiple people have been stabbed.
My thoughts go to the victims, their families and the swift response of our emergency services who have apprehended two suspects believed to be the aggressors.
Best wishes extended to @DavidHorne and his hard working @LNER team who have had to deal with this awful situation.
We are currently responding to an incident on a train to Huntingdon where multiple people have been stabbed.
Officers are in attendance alongside @CambsCops and two people have been arrested.
Further updates will be shared here.
