@upshine3 For example, we can see this post and instantly remember that many, many, many people have already posted this exact same comment long before you did.
Being sent to an appeal form with no clarity on timing or remediation makes it feel like I’m just stuck, which is frustrating because I love Claude Code and have been a huge advocate for it among friends and colleagues.
@AnthropicAI@claudeai My account was suspended and I’ve appealed, but I still don’t know what policy I violated. If I got something wrong, please tell me so I can fix it. This is tied to my main email address, and I don’t want to guess and accidentally re-trigger the same issue.
@amandahoey @nataliemj10 100% this. People can enjoy things AND recognize that those things are unhealthy. That seems like a healthier emotional state than trying to refute evidence in order to feel comfortable with our decisions.
@davidu I wouldn’t use the dentist example since it sounds like you’re “allowing” access to basic healthcare in exchange for someone being on email during their downtime. Maybe instead use something that reflects work/life balance like their kid’s soccer practice or something.
@alexdupler I thought of you when I saw this. Was going to ping you tomorrow with it. That teleprompter setup is epic. I also like how he uses the corner behind him to frame himself in the video, something that requires zero dollars and a little creativity to set up.
@PawarBI I think the idea of a virtual desktop where you can place “windows” all around you, zoom them in and out, etc. would be awesome (I saw a demo of this on HoloLens years ago), but that price point is a total deal breaker for me. I would never get $3500 in value out of it.
5yo: “Some boys like boys and some boys like girls and some girls like girls and some girls like boys.”
Me: “That’s true. What do you think about that?”
5yo: “Cheetahs are faster than cars and I really want to ride on the back of a cheetah for real.”
Glad we had that talk.
