There really is no better way to showcase what TUI contributes to local communities. With 320+ stores employing c.3000 people, including over 100 apprentices, that story is replicated right across the country.
Lovely morning co-hosting @JohnHealey_MP with @TUIUK Holiday Store team in Rotherham. The fantastic team of 21 colleagues includes someone who has been with the business for over 30 years all the way through to a current apprentice.

Surprisingly little coverage of news that the Scottish Air Departure tax will finally launch in April 2027, replacing UK Air Passenger Duty for Scottish departures. Will the Scottish Government take the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage and tackle design floors of APD?
As part of the 2026-27 Scottish Budget, the date for the implementation of Air Departure Tax has been announced as 1 April 2027. Air Departure Tax (ADT) is a wholly devolved tax that replaces the Air Passenger Duty (APD) in Scotland.

@JonnyBaxterFCDO Hi Jonny. My late 70s mother in law is stranded in Lagos and weβre struggling to get help with fcdo/uk border force. Would it be possible to contact me.
Pleased to see government policy change on apprenticeship minimum lengths lead to real new opportunities. Great work by team @TUIUK and delighted our new minister @Mather_Keir has welcomed this initiative. Sure to be super competitive! https://t.co/mDH5mGjkBx

Weβve got a large UK apprenticeship programme but also great to see our unspent Apprenticeship Levy funds put to good use to support NHS and others https://t.co/onz9qbghLe
Great to see @TUIUK colleagues recognised for their hard work on apprenticeships in two recent national rankings. 48th in Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2025 rankings by DfE and RateMyApprenticeship and #69 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers
Enjoyed talking to members of the DSA Action Group @LeePitcherMP @SallyJameson and @jowhite__ about the re-opening of Doncaster Sheffield airport. Strong advocates for the benefits of a regional international airport for local people and the economy. https://t.co/1PzpVTBDH2
