@kangadrew72 Can’t believe I forgot trumpet.
(We always make these lists on the final day- no consultation allowed). I’m the list on the right. And a brass player. #facepalm
Many teachers I’ve spoken to are frustrated over the talk about schools. It’s not about schools being “opened” vs “closed”. It’s about telling us our work is so critical that we have to go to work even if we’re close contacts, but with no details on additional safety measures.
Mathematics, chaos, beauty.
Physics PhD candidate Ben Bartlett (@bencbartlett) writes, "It's called the Lorenz 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 because all nearby points are 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 into the set of chaotic orbits, regardless of initial conditions." Source: https://t.co/VXAHujvz4q
“schools should be given the same treatment as NSW Parliament, where the upper house’s ventilation system has been upgraded to ensure eight exchanges of fresh air every hour” https://t.co/f24dKnxRGB
May I suggest that the words #UnderlyingHealthCondition be removed from reports about #COVID19?
Many people of all ages live with some chronic health condition.
They deserve consideration and protection, not have their “condition” used as an “excuse” for a COVID19 statistic
"Dr Young, what sort of level of death are you comfortable with?" Dr Young replied "Comfortable with? I'm a doctor. None."
The media is seeking to normalise allowing preventable deaths to protect profits. Thank goodness there are doctors & premiers who oppose this. #Covid19qld
Daily vaccination rates are building momentum! Still some way to go in coverage, but a source of optimism for Aussies.
Brilliant, helpful graph from @behrooz_hm. #covid19vic
Animated map shows human migration throughout history. Nice touch to have the map display relief data. I like how at 9 seconds humans hit the Himalayas and wisely decided to head eastwards. Source: https://t.co/G1hHQZlVQG
