@LupusBeowulf This should be the plan. Gainey checks every box except the most important one. He might be an amazing HC, and he should prove it at a mid major. Until then, swing for the fences with Schertz.
@statefansnation@BullocksRedskin Can he win. All that matters. Who cares about recruiting, who cares if he’s one of our own. If he can’t win basketball games, it doesn’t mean anything. Lowe, Gott, and Keatts were good at all those things except the one that mattered most - winning games.
@InvertTheWing Poch had more money and better talent at Chelsea and PSG than he did at spurs, and both clubs showed him the door. Legitimately asking, why do you think he would flourish at spurs right now?
@TheSpursExpress@MiguelDelaney This would be such a stupid hire. There’s a reason he was sacked in the first place, and he has done nothing but underperform since then. Pure nostalgia thinking here.
@PackAthletics Before any future jerseys are ordered or logos are changed, please don’t make the mistake of thinking the fans want the Louisville style of retro branding. Yiiiikes. @joeovies@giglio_OG#slobbedup
@DrewBlevins30@buckets_timmy@joeovies This is precisely the real problem. People in charge of this process at state and adidas *think* our unis and branding is good. The issue isn’t, why can’t we have retro right now, or why aren’t people doing their jobs? It’s, why are people with bad taste making these decisions?
@statefansnation The state jersey debacle isn’t even what bothers me the most. It’s the fact that we have people in charge who genuinely don’t have good taste. If you think that a massive tuffy head is a better logo than the diamond or slobberer, then I’m sorry, you don’t get the job.
@PackChat1887 Right, I don’t mind the tuffy head either; but I don’t think it’s good primary logo. It’s very “in your face” looking. I think most alum, or at least myself, would prefer a classic block letter or the slobbering wolf. It’s so much more clean.
