Hear me out. The U.S gov should insure ships traveling through the Strait of Hormuz. But what would be fun would be if they allowed the public to somehow crowd fund and invest in certain ships that are going through the straits.

Trump already has the DFC doing cheap war-risk insurance + Navy escorts to keep oil flowing. Why not make. Allow regular people to pick a vessel (Saudi crude? Qatari Urea?), throw in cash, back the voyage. If the Ship makes it? You get a cut of the return.

President Trump monitored the situation overnight at Mar a Lago alongside members of his national security team. The President spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu by phone.

Prior to the attacks, Secretary Rubio called all members of the gang of eight to provide congressional notification, and he was able to reach and brief seven of the eight members.

The President and his national security team will continue to closely monitor the situation throughout the day.
