@M8rkmywords@kmbaert I met an American solo at Kington - first time ever in the UK and he got told
by a random on reddit to play these three. Arrived in London then hired a car and drove straight to Kington 😂 he was in awe of the course, had CS the next day then CH before a weeks work back in london
@joshwlees@ProGolfCritic Would be on a sponsors invite atm unless he improved his fed ex ranking slightly? (not top 45 yet, but there’s probably enough of last years top 30 in the 45 which would mean he could qualify that way with a few more solid results.
@frmrda@jerichsen66@Robopz The Top 30 OWGR Exemption being removed next year? (honest question) He will get in the first one as the highest ranked DPWT Grad, but this year he would have been all of them due to top 30, like Alex Noren
@frmrda@jerichsen66@Robopz The fall events are probably dependent on Rory tbh. How much of a buffer can Reed give him going into the playoffs. If Rai has another good major or rolex showing then add him into the mix, likewise John Rahm. Playing the Dunhill for a few more points + €2m R2D winnings vs FS $$
@jerichsen66@Robopz Yes, but the events he was playing over the last few years didn’t really fit a balanced schedule. Playing multiple 5 week swings. His form at the start of last years LIV schedule was dreadful, 4 weeks in the desert followed by Australia didn’t help.
@jerichsen66@Robopz I reckon his schedule will be UsOp, It Op, BMW Int, ScOp, OpCh, Irish O, BMW PGA, Prescup (if selected) then who knows until playoffs? struggling to reach 19 events at this rate which definitely isn’t a Reed type schedule
@jerichsen66@Robopz The wins at the start of the year along with the PGA ban have given him an opportunity to actually be there as a Dad this season for his kids. PGAT 27 Exmp ✅ OWGR T50 ✅ Decent Buffer over Rory in R2D ✅ There’s no need to play really until the back 9, so he’s enjoying the break
@Robopz He’s confirmed for the BMW Int - and would assume he will also play Italy or Denmark as he’d be throwing away money by not playing them (he needs 8 events on the competition of denmark not inc majors or scottish, he has 6 atm + BMW + Another
to access the global bonus pool)
@LeaderofKCC Call me old fashioned, but if parent isn’t able or willing to give their own child the correct start to the day then i’m more than happy for the state to step in to stop their child from disrupting my child’s education. We might even save some benefit payments in 14 years time..
@GolfloverUK The DP can’t afford to shut down a premier links course in the middle of peak season. Thats why there are very few professional 4 day links events-the club misses out on back to back 4 balls at £325 pop, plus their members can’t play as the course is shut for a week+ to set up
@RY8aners@SHistorians@MyGolfSpy I only bought Tour 360s as winter spikes.
I’ve yet to go back to my Ecco spikless (which are probably the best all round shoe i’ve ever owned.. but the 360s just feel like they give extra support and stability when playing golf, minus the blisters during 1st two weeks of wear)
@AllTourGolfBets@acaseofthegolf1 Yes, i did wonder the same - Surely the only reason he’d play Dallas was due the alt ranking which he’s obviously either ignored or didn’t understand. Unless Walton Heath entry had closed by the time he decided to try for USOpen qualifying? And Dallas was the only option?
@sportsinfive@PKirkbright Technically they didn’t compromise - they prorated the event obligation for the remainder of the season, so Rahm paid fines for the first 3 events he didn’t get a release for, unlike the others. However as i have a season ticket for the Scottish, it’s great he can play #5thMajor
