The team of Oluebube Ezechukwu, Obi Jennifer Chukwuka, Olajide Olayinka and Prestina Ochonogor ran 43.93 seconds for 2nd place in their heat.

The quartet of Chidera Ezeakor, Kanyinsola Ajayi, Adekalu Fakorede and Favour Ashe won theirs in 38.48 seconds.

Not sure what Nigerians ate but we’re killing it in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Watched the Olympics & international sports competitions since I was a child, I don’t recall us competing in swimming, Javelin, Shot put and cycling (I might be wrong) but this now? Amazing!

I like how the world is now taking an interest in our children.

I am benchmarking our education against that of Singapore, Finland, Shanghai, China, Canada, and the US.

This is how we can move from being a third-world country to a first-world country.
