I was born in Rhodesia and wasn’t Zimbabwean for another 4 years. I’ve wondered if this is just semantics or if it’s had a lasting impact on me. I wasn’t a “born-free” as we jokingly call it. I was born four years too early, too early to be born-free.
@EPhilips5 @HumansNoContext Don't we all? The you that show up at a party is not the you that shows up at work. We are all pretending. It's part of life. We just don't realize it. There is a different you for every occasion. The problem is some yous show up where they shouldn't or are faked.
@elke_wtf @Beautif64179502 @CarmineSabia That’s the problem. If you never hear her do her rap live, you don’t know who is on the track. Yes, it sounds like her but if you watch American Idol, a lot of contestants can sound like the original singer.
@apsi8281 @smiggles2018@TansuYegen If I found out that my parents tricked me into taking medicine when I was 2, I won’t need therapy. These are the stories you tell your child as they get older. “Do you know that when you were 2 we tricked you into taking medicine by…” Even at 12, a child gets this.
