@bOnstine I'd advice to start practicing to stay in the moment and balance off your pace too. I did caught up like that and when I try remembering things, I can't remember even the good movies I watched. So, I decided to find the good pace where I can actually stay present too.
i love how people are saying "if we write a sufficiently detailed specification, the agent can write all our code"
do you know what writing a sufficiently detailed specification that deterministically maps to what a computer's actions is? it's coding
With AI, I can get an overview of everything I did over the week at work. It goes through slack, jira, confluence, github, local git commits and my dev-logs.
I just run `/weekly-recap`, grab a coffee and voila, everything right on a html rendered page.
Over time, my goal is to have a system which makes it easier for me at work. Have a morning agent that gathers things that I have got to respond today (learned this from @nav_devl ), alerts that came in overnight, gh prs assigned to me - already with a AI generated headstart PR review.
Exciting times coming.

Meiyazhagan is the kind of movie you watch on a slow Sunday afternoon. Comforting, warm, and stays with you. Might change you as a good person, if you aren't already.
If you haven’t seen it, just reminding you, tomorrow is Sunday.
today discussing with few folks at work. we were discussing whether we will go back to writing code at "human speed". that reminded me of, how the last 6-7 months feels like a huge leap, writing handwritten code is more like intentional slowing down.
Get a home-lab server and a domain name, connect it with cloudflare tunnels (so that you don’t need a static IP). And host your apps locally if your beta testing.
and thank me later
is the agentic assisted development is gonna like discovery of fire by cavemen? gonna save time, for us to venture around broader aspects of life & engineering?
Neither of these men are married or have kids.
Both are simply obsessed with their own personal perfection and optimization.
There is nothing impressive about a single man with no kids sleeping well and being fit.
Show me a man with young children, a full time job, disrupted sleep, who works out regularly, eats healthy, trains Jui Jitsu, with a muscular body…
THIS is impressive. THIS requires extreme discipline.
