KIADB is one of the most corrupt institutions in the country. Loots the farmer, government and the buyer. The need of the hour is a public audit on the allotment, utilization and vacancy.

We, RCB fans, are indebted to CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar for winning us the IPL after 18 years.

They displayed incredible cricketing and leadership skills on the field and brought our club this long elusive glory.

We are also very upset about Virat Kohli, other players and the RCB Management for poor arrangement of the security measures at the program organised to honour CM & DK and their families for winning us the trophy.

Good that RCB Management is arrested and police commissioner is suspended. They are primarily responsible for security in Bengaluru.

Anyways, CM and DKS can now go back to Chinnaswamy Stadium to start practising for their next IPL season.

The biggest real estate player in Karnataka is not Sobha or Prestige or Brigade.

It is KIADB ( ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮಂಡಳಿ ) . It's nothing but into the business of Real estate.

Modus operandi of KIADB

1) Acquire thousands of acres of fertile agri lands
2) Sell it to Industries which purchase the lands at cheap rates on the pretext of providing jobs to locals
3) 70% of the industries won't start functioning
4) On the other hand farmers who lost lands neither receive compensation nor jobs
5) After 10 years lock in period, industries sell their vacant lands to other pvt real estate players for double the rates.

I think after 78 years of independence and self Governance, There is one thing we all can agree on.

Corruption is no longer an issue in India. We as people have accepted it as a part of our life. And we have accepted that it isn't going to go away.

So, like Cho suggested in Tughlaq, it is time we legalize corruption.

Call it facilitation fee, consultancy charge, service cess or enablement expenses But fix the rates.

Then charge 28% GST on that.

I am sure the government will earn more from this than what they will gain from LTCG, STT or real estate indexation removal.

And corporates become happy because they can get a tax write off for those expenses.

You promote an idea before the elections & once you get a mandate, you don't have the money & budgetary support to fund those ideas. Then, you blame the Centre & want it to fund the promises you've made to the people.

Look at Karnataka, a state that was doing wonderful till last year. Now, it pains me to see that Bengaluru doesn't even have drinking water. It's clear what 'Revadis' did in a year.

Now, they want the Centre to fund their 'Revadis' & they blame us saying that the Centre is discriminatory. States must be questioned about their financial mismanagement.
