For the first time, a change in national risk has occurred. National risk for trans youth is now High.

I am saddened to report that South Carolina's governor has signed a gender affirming care ban, forced outing policy, and public funding ban on gender affirming care.

This is in violation of a recent 4th Circuit decision, with SC being under their jurisdiction.

1. Last month, I reported that Chaya Raichik of Libs of TikTok was appointed by Ryan Walters to "make schools safer" in Oklahoma.

One month later, a trans teen is dead after a year of transphobic bullying.

Their name was Nex.

Incredible decision out of the 5th Circuit finding that book bans are likely unconstitutional.

This is one of the most right-wing courts n the country. This is a massive blow to those who seek to ban books in many states - over 25 book ban bills have been filed this year.
