"@SkechersIndia My order was cancelled 14 days ago. I have NOT received my refund voucher. Customer care is not picking up calls or replying to emails. Order ID: SOP00612209 , I am filing a consumer complaint if this is not resolved in 24 hours. #SkechersIndia#RefundScam"
@karthik2k2 Be truthful to the patient and explain the chances of the complication and clearly state that the pros outweigh the cons in your opinion, give him the right to refuse, respect his decision & try to go for other options, if he still refuses…
Doc ..What diet restriction should I follow to prevent kidney stones?.. is probably one of the most frequently asked questions in my clinical practice. Many people oddly believe that tomato seeds are the foci on which kidney stones are formed and ask me if they should be avoided in diet.
My commonest answer is formation of stones is usually due to multiple factors
and restricting certain foods may not be of much use or help in preventing them
However if I see a patient who has already had a history of stones, then I tell them to avoid high protein /salt/ calcium diet as they can increase the chances of recurrence. There are enough studies to suggest this.
My usual advice is that whether they follow diet restrictions or not, adequate hydration is the most important factor that helps to reduce the formation of stones.
