@17retired London accents differ by sociodemographic, not really by region. Someone from a specific sociodemographic in Kingston will sound the same as their counterpart in Enfield

@to__nye Many examples (even closer than German/Dutch): Swedish, Danish and Norwegian are basically one language. Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian. Portuguese and "Spanish" to similar extents. Very common for "different languages" in Europe to be mutually intelligible.
