Melburnians who hadn't previously been fans of the 49ers celebrated at SF's team bar after the game, including this guy — who's already planning a trip to the Bay Area to catch a game.

“It wasn’t just win. It was the start of a relationship, the relationship between San Francisco and not just Melbourne — but Australia. Melbourne is the sporting capital of the world. And we get behind any team, but seeing how San Francisco has come over here and immersed themselves in our culture and our community — the love goes both ways. We love it.

“You guys haven’t just come over here and won. You guys have come over here and captured our hearts. We are San Francisco. Melbourne, San Francisco. That’s it, mate."
