Friday’s honorary captain was Bhoomi Peddi, who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in 2025. She needed a wheelchair to attend her first UNC VB game.

After surgeries, radiation & chemo, she was back to celebrate remission! She wants to go to UNC & become a pediatric oncologist!🫶
