@freak4pc @alpennec @twannl @datadoghq These journeys can be further correlated with memory consumption, FPS rate, code profiling, custom logging, errors and also crash reports. This whole range of telemetry gives an excellent visibility over app and bugs in production while with respecting user privacy. (2/3)

@freak4pc @alpennec @twannl @datadoghq Datadog iOS engineer here 👋. It's all true that Datadog was focused on backend for many yrs, however our way to mobile is not through "patching", but introducing brand new products like RUM targeted exclusively at frontend and mobile monitoring 🙂.

@twannl Glad to hear that 😊! It’s still in public beta and some elements are yet to come, but even today it’s well integrated with our other products. Happy to chat if you have any questions. And don’t listen to my testing suggestions - they are all biased 🙃.

@twannl The bare minimum is to try uncaught (Obj-C) exception vs SIG traps. Exceptions typically come with an additional context (their user-friendly message, type and stack trace), whereas traps just interrupt the process with much less verbosity.
