I don’t know what’s funnier. The $150 per year savings in energy passed by the state or the $22 savings on property taxes (average home value being $220k in the city)
Baltimore City Council just voted in favor of an amended tax reduction plan that was a deal between members and the mayor. The mayor agreed to an effective 1 cent reduction via the homeowners tax credit. In exchange, the council approved a 1% increase to the homestead cap
Orioles’ Shane Baz when asked for his thoughts on the no-call of Blue Jays’ Ernie Clement running out of the base path:
“The only reason that I'm not going to talk about that play is because I will get fined.”
2nd-base umpire Nic Lentz to a pool reporter:
“The runner has a right to establish his basepath. And so, Clement had established his basepath to avoid the fielder from potential interference. And even though that Henderson reached out for a tag, Clement’s basepath was already established out there going to 2nd base. So therefore, it was not out of the baseline.”

You think Kim and the blue jays fan 10 years ago had the same misunderstanding @SimplyAJ10
Jesus Sanchez, through Blue Jays interpreter, on getting hit by a fan Sunday:
"It was a misunderstanding. I wasn't trying to play catch right there with them. I just looked at them and they thought maybe that I wanted them to throw the ball back to me."
