Yes, at the end of the day, you're still an adult not a child. Meaning even if you're not financially able to contribute, then you must add value to that home in other ways. Don't be a bum, just eating & lazying around

Contribute in other ways, be the handy man at that home. Fix stuff that needs fixing. Lift stuff that needs lifting. If possible there's land, even small, utilize it. A garden, to suppliment to the family's food

And don't be the choosy type, ask for piece jobs within your community, so you can earn a few coins, once in a while contribute to the family's budget. Show gratitude. Don't be a leech. Learn OR perish!!!
